FCMA organizes orientation trip for FPA competitors

Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) organized on Saturday, October 25, 2014 orientation tour for the competitors of Fujairah Photography Award (FPA) so that they can get to know each other and get more familiar with the award's rules and conditions.

The tour evolved urban and mountainous areas across the emirate.  The 25 participants, from across the country, have been acquainted with the social, cultural and economic development taking place in emirate with focus on the specific category of this edition, which is “Mountains”. The tour featured some of the mountainous areas in Dibba Al Fujairah and Al Hanyaha area.

Mohammed Saleem, a photographer and tour guide, said that they have visited some of the emirate’s landmarks like Fujairah Marine Sports Club, Sheikh Hamad bin Abd Allah street, Fujairah Tower and Massaifi area. The participants highlighted the FCMA’s great efforts aimed at promoting the emirate in particular, UAE in general, as tourism hub worldwide. They also took group photos at the end of the tour.
