Photography exhibition inaugurated in Dibba Al Fujairah

Fujairah; H.E. Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Vice Chairman of Fujairah Culture and Media Authority (FCMA) inaugurated on Thursday, August 15, a photography exhibition at Radisson Blu hotel in Dibba Al Fujairah. The show features 40 works that have been presented as entries for the last edition of Fujairah Photography Award (FPA). Speaking to Fujairah News, Al Dhanhani said; "This exhibition is organized keeping with the directives of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, FCMA Chairman to boosting FPA and to lure more competitors for its coming editions". "Sheikh Rashid stresses the important role of visual arts in promoting Fujairah cultural and historical landmarks," he said. Adding; "We have selected Dibba Al Fujairah to host such cultural event because of its unique natural scenery". Plans are in the pipeline to organize such exhibitions in the other emirates, he said. "Our next leg will be in Dubai," he added. 
Since its inception in 2007, FPA was very instrumental in promoting the touristic, cultural, scenery and economic potentials of Fujairah.
